Please read this page closely as it has completely changed effective January 1, 2012.

Note: FCGSL accepts registrations for teams, not individuals. If you are looking for a team for your daughter to play on, please contact one of the youth softball leagues in Fairfax County. You can find links to these organizations on our Links Page.

The Application for the current season can be downloaded here. The Application is in Excel format and has three (3) tabs. Please read the first tab, and fill out tabs 2 and 3. 

Submitting the Application:

Please note deadline dates and requirements for non-Fairfax County teams on tab 1 of the application.  Email the registration form to Jim Pendergast at FCGSLJim@aol.com, and snail mail the form, a copy of your insurance certificate, and a check for the registration fee to the address in the application.

Do not use Express Mail; our registrar works durin gthe day and cannot go to the post office during business hours to claim Express Mail.

Registration Deadline

To allow us to schedule games and umpires, and meet the Fairfax County field permit requirements, we need to receive your registration form (tab 2) by February 25, 2012, and roster (tab 3) by March 11, 2012. 

Late Registrations

FCGSL will accept registrations after February 25, 2012, with payment of a $150 late fee.  This fee will no longer be credited towards future games.

Amended Registration

You can change your roster at any time.  Just resubmit the roster form to Jim Pendergast at FCGSLJim@aol.com.

If you want to add games, contact your age level commissioner first to see if he can fit in your game request.  If he can, then send a copy of his email confirming the schedule change and a check for $75 to the FCGSL post office box: FCGSL, PO Box 120, Annandale, VA  22003.  If your additional game is to make up a rain out, you do not need to send a check.

If you want to drop games, first contact your age level commissioner.  FCGSL will not provide a credit or refund for games that a team requests and then cancels after the games are scheduled.

Registering with ASA:

Our Contract with ASA Umpires requqires that all teams register with ASA.

Teams with ASA Insurance:  If your have purchased the ASA insurance through Bollinger, you are already registered with ASA.

Teams with non-ASA insurance:  If your team is currently insured and you are not registered with ASA:
