Silver Diner Sponsors HomePage

February 1999

The Silver Diner has stepped forward to be the first local business to help sponsor the FCGSL HomePage.

There have been many costs associated with getting FCGSL.ORG up and running ... and the Silver Diner's advertisement will help offset some of the start-up and operating expenses. FCGSL Vice President Allison Pilger negotiated the sponsorship deal with Silver Diner and continues to seek additional sponsors for the league HomePage. The FCGSL Board encourages teams, players, coaches, local softball fans and supporters to patronize those businesses that support our girls!

Thanks for your support ... Silver Diner!!!

Maintenance Equipment Purchased

January 1999

FCGSL has purchased a Kubota Tractor and equipment trailer to be used to improve and maintain girls softball fields.

The acquisition of this tractor will allow FCGSL to address some field maintenance inequities/issues under its own control. The tractor is being shared with several local softball organizations through a cooperative agreement. The tractor and trailer represent a $20K investment to implement a fields maintenance program for FCGSL permitted fields.
