Purpose

Since 2001, FCGSL has sponsored the Northern Virginia Fastpitch All Star Tournament at the end of the spring recreational softball season.  This tournament provides a venue for All Star teams from northern Virginia fastpitch softball recreational leagues to play an end of season tournament.  Recreational leagues from Fairfax County and nearby Virginia counties are encouraged to enter teams. No select or travel teams are allowed to register.  The tournament has three divisions:  10u, 12u, and 18u.

Schedule

The All Star Tournament is be held the weekend of Fathers Day.  Fields are typically at Wakefield Park and Falls Church HS.  Other fields may be used.  Specific game times will depend on the number of teams registered; your specific game schedule will depend on the game draw.

Late Registrations

Registration opens 30 days before Fathers Day.  To register, send an email to Jim Pendergast at fcgsljim@aol.com identifying for each team you want to register:

• the league name
• the head coach with email and phone number (cell phone is best)
• the point of contact for the league. 

The fee for each registered team is $200. (Fee increases in 2012 due to increase in umpire fees over the last few years.)  Make the check out to FCGSL, and mail the check to FCGSL, PO Box 120, Annandale, VA  22003.   Registration closes 8 days before Fathers Day.  We cannot guarantee a spot in the tournament for any late registration.
